Rachel Drake is the visionary force and head of the kitchen at TruePath Nutrition. With years of formal culinary education and real-world experience, she brings a powerful combination of training, talent, and passion to every meal. Before launching TruePath, Rachel successfully built and operated her own restaurant and catering company—sharpening her skills in high-volume production, flavor development, and team leadership.
As Owner and Executive Chef, Rachel leads menu creation, recipe development, and kitchen operations with precision and purpose. Her focus on high-quality, balanced meals is the foundation of TruePath’s mission: to provide food that supports real health goals without compromising on taste. Every dish that leaves the kitchen reflects her deep commitment to excellence, nutrition, and the people TruePath serves.
Mike Middleton
Co-Owner & Director of Operations
Mike Middleton is the driving force behind the scenes at TruePath Nutrition. As Co-Owner and Head of Business Operations, Mike handles everything from logistics and systems to strategy and growth. With a sharp eye for detail and a deep commitment to the company’s mission, he helped build TruePath from the ground up—ensuring every process runs smoothly so clients receive the highest level of service. His dedication makes it possible for the kitchen team to focus on what they do best: crafting nutritious, life-changing meals.
Dr. Dave Vanata, Ph.D., CSSD, RDN
Nutritionist & Dietitian
Dr. David Vanata brings unmatched expertise to TruePath Nutrition as our lead Nutritionist and Registered Dietitian. Board Certified in Sports Nutrition and currently serving as the Director of Sports Nutrition at Ashland University, Dr. Vanata offers evidence-based guidance tailored to performance, wellness, and recovery. With decades of experience in both academic and applied settings, he helps shape TruePath’s macro-balanced meal plans to ensure they meet the highest standards in nutrition science. His strategic input ensures every client receives not only flavorful meals, but ones designed to fuel real results.
Jenise Woodward
Sous Chef & Kitchen Assistant
Jenise Woodward brings over 15 years of experience and a deep knowledge of food safety and science to her role as Sous Chef at TruePath Nutrition. Since 2007, she has worked in various areas of the food industry, blending technical skill with a genuine love for wholesome, intentional cooking. Jenise holds a Certificate in Food Science from Washington State University and is PCQI certified through the FDA’s FSPCA Preventive Controls for Human Food program. As Rachel’s right hand in the kitchen, Jenise plays a vital role in menu execution, quality control, and keeping everything running at the highest standard—ensuring every meal meets the TruePath promise of excellence.

Prep Cook & Kitchen Assistant
Lacey Zahradnicek is the heartbeat of day-to-day kitchen operations at TruePath Nutrition. As Prep Cook and General Kitchen Assistant, she brings consistency, energy, and a strong work ethic to every shift. With a sharp eye for detail and a passion for supporting healthy living through great food, Lacey plays a key role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly.
